Impala Brake Upgrade

    Below are pictures of the 1998 Trans-AM (F-Body) calipers w/ 150K miles on them.  Obviously, the one on the left is how I received them, and the one on the right is after a healthy (but no thorough) cleaning.  They were cleaned using spray brake cleaner and a cordless drill with a wire brush attachment.

    Below are pictures of the 1998 Trans-AM (F-Body) calipers after a thorough cleaning, including a small wire brush on a flexible roto-zip tool .

    Below are pictures of the 2005 Impala (W-Body) calipers after a cleaning with a cordless drill and wire brush.  These were in great shape as they came off a car w/ less than 1000 miles on it

    Below are pictures of the complete set of calipers with the mounting brackets.  The F-Body calipers have been drilled and tapped to a thread size of 14x2.0 to mate with the stock front caliper mounting on the Impala.
